Harambee Stars head coach Sébastien Migné has named a 30 man provisional squad to represent the country at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in June to be held in Egypt.

Migne has named the squad that has been largely involved in the qualification process with new inclusions of inform AFC Leopards Midfielder Whyvonne Isuza, USA-based Joseph Okumu, former Sofapaka player Cliffton Miheso and winger Ayub Timbe.
However Zesco United striker Jesse Were has been left out of the squad expected to jet out for Paris on May 31 for a three week training camp ahead of AFCON.
Stars are scheduled to play two friendly matches against Madagascar on June 7, and the Gambia a week later, on June 15, 2019 before heading to Cairo.
From the list of 30 who will start training, four will be dropped with 26 heading to France, after which another three will be dropped for the final team to travel to Cairo.
Harambee Stars will be making a return to the continental showpiece after 15 years in the cold has been pooled in Group C alongside Senegal, Tanzania and Algeria.
The team will kick off their campaign against Algeria on June 23 before squaring it out with Tanzania on June 27 ahead of the final group match on July 1 against Senegal.
